ONEX SA provides the Public Authorities of Greece, Finland, Romania and Spain with its state-of-the-art land border surveillance system.
On Thursday, November 23, 2017, ONEX SA has been awarded on a major contract for the land border surveillance system concept EWISA which is coordinated by the Center for Security Studies (Hellenic Ministry of Interior).
EWISA (acronym for Early Warning for Increase Situational Awareness) is aimed to promote further cooperation between public authorities as the end-users on developing new solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of public services related to security issues on topics of common European interest.
ONEX SA state-of the-art system will help Europe to tackle the challenges and threats that faces today such as:
- Illegal migration
- Smuggling
- Trafficking in drugs and forbidden materials
- Trafficking in weapons
Above all, ONEX SA will dispose to the citizens of Europe another one of its enhanced, integrated solutions that will contribute to the creation of a stable infrastructure for a safe well-being for the citizens of the European Union today and for the generations to come.
